Studies of consumer behavior during recessions conclude that affordable "take out" food sales usually hold up well, and that individuals and families will spend a few dollars on fun, even when times are tough, because they feel the need to do so. It's human nature... it feels good (tastes good too) to do something affordable to break out of the rut.
Our sales reflect this idea. We see our customers ordering just as much during "bad" times as during "good" times. They are selling.
Of course, we can't guarantee success for anyone. But, ask yourself, how do you react when you are feeling a bit down? Going out for some good fun and good food is often good medicine... right?
